It’s been forever since we’ve seen two Windows 10 Insider Preview builds in a single week. But it just happened: Microsoft today announced Windows 10 Insider Preview build 16275.
Yes, build 16273 arrived just two days ago. But there is one major difference between the two builds: While 16273 was available to both the Fast and Skip Ahead rings, 16275 is for the Fast ring only.
“We are now at the point of the development cycle for the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update where our focus is now on stabilization for release to the world,” Microsoft’s Dona Sarkar explains. “You’ll notice that this build includes a bunch of good bug fixes Insiders will enjoy.”
Which is another way of saying that this build includes no new features. As promised.
You can check out the Microsoft blog post for what’s fixed. What you can’t read there is a list of known issues. Which, again, is a huge mistake on their part.
